What you can do
Agent turns using the OpenAI subscription profile and native Codex runtime draw from the signed-in Codex allowance.
Good to know
A fallback model can be configured, but OpenClaw does not silently add paid usage when the OpenAI allowance ends.
- ChatGPT limits
- OpenClaw notes that Codex OAuth quota windows can differ from ordinary ChatGPT web usage. Direct OpenAI API-key access is separate.
- Possible extra cost
- User-configured fallback providers may have their own subscription or usage charges.
How to get started

Install OpenClaw and run onboarding.

Choose the OpenAI provider or run the OpenAI model-auth command.

Complete ChatGPT sign-in and select a model exposed to the account.
