What you can do

Codex-model requests made by Kilo's local IDE extension and CLI count against the connected ChatGPT plan.

Good to know

Kilo documents separate gateway and API-key providers, but not an automatic fallback when the ChatGPT allowance is exhausted.

ChatGPT limits
Kilo Cloud Agents, Kilo Deploy, and KiloClaw are outside this subscription route. Model availability and quota follow the OpenAI plan.
Possible extra cost
A Kilo Gateway balance or separately billed provider key can be configured manually.

How to get started

    Open Kilo Code and select the ChatGPT subscription option.

  2. 02

    Choose OpenAI OAuth and complete the browser sign-in.

  3. 03

    Select a Codex model and use it in a local IDE or CLI session.
