What you can do
Local Codex work uses the allowance and workspace access attached to the signed-in ChatGPT account.
Good to know
Eligible plans can extend usage with additional ChatGPT credits. API-key login is available as a separate usage-based mode.

- Usage varies with the selected model, task size, context, reasoning, and tool use. Shared five-hour and additional weekly limits may apply.

How to get started
