Codex sessions and Codex-routed tasks use the allowance attached to the authenticated ChatGPT account.
Good to know
CodeMantis does not add an OpenAI quota or automatic paid fallback to the Codex route.

- A supported Codex CLI must be installed. CodeMantis's other agents and provider paths have independent requirements.
- Possible extra cost
- Claude Code and OpenCode can be configured as separate agents with their own billing.
How to get started

Install and authenticate the official Codex CLI.

Install CodeMantis on macOS or Windows.

Select Codex for a project, session, or supported task category.
