What you can do
Main agent turns use Codex models through the connected ChatGPT plan. Auxiliary tasks use the main provider by default unless the user overrides them.
Good to know
Hermes can use credential pools or fallback providers, but there is no automatic free continuation beyond the OpenAI plan.
- ChatGPT limits
- Direct Codex auth and the optional Codex app-server runtime keep separate credential stores. Cross-provider fallback only occurs when configured.
- Possible extra cost
- Any configured fallback provider follows that provider's own billing.
How to get started

Install Hermes Agent and run the model selector.

Choose OpenAI Codex.

Open the device-code URL, enter the code, and approve ChatGPT access.
